Description

This complex coffee mingles textbook Ethiopia “blueberry” fruitiness with an exotic, syrupy mouthfeel. It comes from a very small village named Wush wush in the Sidama region of western Ethiopia, in the province of Kaffa. Fun fact – the word Kaffa means “a drink made from berries.” So aptly named is the popular coffee growing region. The coffee cherries go through a non-traditional, long fermentation process, which contributes to the port-like sweetness, then finally dried on raised mesh tables in the traditional manner, resulting in a lush body, almost overly fruity and a slightly boozy quality. A coffee for coffee lovers, this is our recommendation for cold brew; the combination with your choice of dairy tastes like chocolate milk.
